Please: Keep an eye on new moms. What I had is one of the top reasons US women die of pregnancy complications. The US maternal mortality rate is 2x most other developed countries. I knew to watch for depression. I wasn’t ready for this.

The Supreme Court has stripped women of their liberty and let red states replace it with mandated birth. This is an attack on American freedom. CA, OR and WA are creating the West Coast offensive. A road map for other states to stand up for women. Time to fight like hell.

Concern about the integrity of the US public health infrastructure: state governmental public health spending saw no statistically significant growth between 2008 and 2018. We need better public health preparedness and response. See bit.ly/2PtBaMx

Thousands of voices at a protest in D.C. came together to sing the Bill Withers classic "Lean on Me," led by local musician Kenny Sway. "It sounded like unity and togetherness," he says. "It sounded like love and pureness of the people." trib.al/hd27oex
