Fantastic start by @JudeKelly_ and @HelenaKennedyQC in the @ROHfestival’s event on the question: “is there justice in the justice system?”. Law students interested in human rights and justice, I’d recommend following @ROHfestival and keeping up to date with their events.

The bad news for football fans is that this essentially means that UEFA has no leverage, meaning the creation of the ESL will probably go ahead. On this, I share football fan's grief. /7

As a final point, I would note that EU law was carried over into UK law following Brexit by virtue of the Withdrawal Act. So all the points I have made are likely to be applicable in relation to any sanctions imposed by the premier league, FA etc. /END THREAD
