Interested to see how a permanently full mempool affects lightning routing nodes.
The last couple of years, force-closes usually came in very cheap - now, due to the heightened fee environment force-closes could really hurt, especially with pending HTLCs.

I am a bit surprised by how many people are enraged about this jpgs-on-the-blockchain business. Adding arbitrary data was possible since I can remember.
Bitcoin doesn't give a shit about the data, as long as you pay the price to use the Blockchain. As it should.

Who am I to judge whether a transaction is worthy of being included?
Do I think storing images, audio, video or whatever is good usage of the blockspace? No.
But if you pay the price - my nodes will store that data forever.
