Proud of the work we did with @ZettaJouleInc. They're building advanced small modular reactors to power the world's most energy-intensive industries.

A small look at our 3D nuclear reactor visualization. The craft coming out of the @zypsy team lately is just energizing. More soon.

We invested in @sazabi. AI-generated code introduces new failure modes. Sazabi is defining the observability layer for AI-native engineering. Full thesis in the comment.

Introducing: Sazabi (@sazabi). The AI-native observability platform for fast moving engineering teams. Backed by engineering leaders from the world's top AI and dev tool companies: Graphite, Vercel, Browserbase, LangChain, Browserbase, and more. Sazabi is taking a radically different approach to observability, centered on three core principles: 1. LESS IS MORE Product engineers don't need more observability bells and whistles. They need clear, actionable answers. The best UX for observability is chat. 2. LOGS ARE ALL YOU NEED The "Three Pillars of Observability" is an outdated idea. Logs can do everything traces can do, and more. 3. MONITORING IS DEAD Creating static monitors for fast-evolving systems is a fool's errand. The future is something different entirely: agentic anomaly detection. I started Sazabi out of desperation. After years of working on observability systems at Crunchbase, Brex, and 11x, I was all too familiar with the toil and complexity. Dashboards. Monitors. Session recordings. Error tracking. APM. RUM. Instrumentation. OpenTelemetry. Endless screens and configuration. It was too much. And despite everything, my teams still struggled to find and fix production issues. I was fed up. I dreamed about a better way. AI makes it possible. Today, I'm proud to introduce Sazabi to the world and announce our closed alpha program. We're selecting 10 startups to participate. It's been over a decade since "observability" became a software engineering concept, discipline, and product category. Why does it still suck? 🧵

Haven’t felt this inspired in a long time after meeting with @kingofstrato. Icarus is opening a new operational domain in the stratosphere for the US. Excited to partner on their mission.

Huge congrats to the winner of F25 Group 1’s product showcase @kingofstrato The future of war is drone war, and that will be won from 70,000 ft above: comms and overwatch from the stratosphere Icarus is building the future and already driving 7 figures in revenue from US govt

We just launched @Exein_io's new brand. As billions of devices (from industrial machines to robotics) come online, security becomes a bigger risk. Exein is the cybersecurity immune system - bringing security directly onto devices. Congratulations on your €70M Series C.

Tired: AI generated newsletter (we can tell) Wired: AI to do the busy work (getting links, summarizing, formatting), humans to curate and finalize Learn how @zypsy reduces the effort to create their weekly review newsletter with Gumloop while keeping curation & quality high

Just shipped our first fully-automated newsletter! An experiment in merging editorial quality with AI workflows. Here’s how we built it: - The Funnel filters signal from noise → RSS feeds, Google Scripts, OpenAI - The Editor curates and cleans → @gumloop - The Delivery ships the final draft → Google Sheets, @make_hq, Mailchimp It’s still early, just one news source, no verification yet. But we’re testing how far we can push quality with automation at @zypsy. Eval (via ChatGPT): Accuracy: 9/10, Value to VCs: 9.5/10 Follow along as we refine our weekly VC/AI curation: eepurl.com/jgk0CY

Databases run the world.
But “teams often find themselves Googling error messages at 3 AM or throwing more hardware at performance problems instead of addressing root causes.”
