In Australia we haven't realised yet that 'gender affirming care' is nothing more than a pseudo healthcare - what's been exposed in the UK with WellBN - is the same in Oz. And the same mechanics that made the reported harms in that clinic - operate here. The gender clinics do NOT follow the laws, regulations and medical codes that govern every other domain of medicine. They remove safeguards - they do harm. I think it was Stephanie Davis-Arai (?) who said "The reckless disregard for children's health and safety is a feature, not a bug, of the gender affirming care model'" Absolutely - read their report. There is no biological basis for gender identity. Brain studies haven’t found one. Genetic studies haven’t found one. Change my mind.

This is deeply troubling. I hope New York will step away from this move! I wrote about the push to eliminate the word “mother” and mother-related terminology in law and policies; how it is linked to the devaluation of motherhood and women overall. I will be presenting this report on “violence against mothers” to the UN Human Rights Council in a few weeks.
