Press release. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! President Trump keeps declaring that he wants to take over our beloved country, Greenland – and most recently, he repeated it yesterday, on March 12. As a people in Greenland , we must stand together and send a clear message to Trump that we will in no way accept his threats. Greenland belongs to the Greenlandic people. On Saturday at 13:00, we will meet in Amisut and carry out a peaceful protest, marching together to the U.S. consulate. When we reach the U.S. consulate, we will sing our national anthem, “Nunarput utoqqarsuanngoravit.” If possible, we would greatly appreciate it if you bring the Greenlandic flag. It is emphasized that the protest must remain peaceful. - END- Nuuk, Greenland 🇬🇱 March 13, 2025

Ah yes, the absolutely hapless and hopeless @WaterREast. I wonder how many of the eNOGs involved in all of that would now like to admit they got played. Apparently we're now going to save East Anglian's chalk streams by fixing all the leaks and getting customers to use less water. Something WCs haven't even come close to achieving in the last 35 years. 🤔

So let me see how this works then. Local campaigner Steve Lavelle asks @NorthumbrianH2O for details of how much sewage they dump into the sea at Whitburn. @NorthumbrianH2O says get stuffed. Steve Lavelle takes @NorthumbrianH2O to the first-tier tribunal (High Court) which orders @NorthumbrianH2O to release the data, turns out to be 1 million tonnes in 2023. Yesterday @NorthumbrianH2O CEO tells Parliament the data is "not necessarily accurate". So who's being mislead then, is it the High Court or Parliament? 🤔 bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0mw…

This is fascism…this is Becky Burke she was on a back packing tour of North America and crashed into Trumps immigration pogroms. Her father writes “Our daughter Becky, a 28-year-old British tourist, has been caught up in the recent immigration crackdown in the US. What was meant to be a life-changing four-month backpacking trip across North America has turned into a nightmare. Despite being a tourist with no criminal record, she was handcuffed and taken to a detention facility in Tacoma, Washington. Becky’s current conditions are deeply concerning. She is sharing a cell, surviving on a diet of cold rice, potatoes, and beans (she is vegan), and has limited access to phone calls. Visitors are restricted to speaking through a glass screen via telephone. All her possessions have been confiscated, and she feels isolated and desperate to come home. We are doing everything we can. We are in touch with the British Consulate in London and San Francisco. An American friend is helping by sending funds to her inmate account so she can buy basic necessities like tea. But progress has been slow, and we urgently need more support. We are asking for your help. Please share Becky’s story widely through your networks. We hope to connect with experts, legal professionals, or anyone who can offer advice or assistance. Becky is a kind, adventurous young woman who simply wants to return home to her family.”

Re progress of Oxford Chancellor to do list & East of England & Cambridge. Li Ka Shing has sold Felixstowe to BlackRock. Might it be relevant that Trinity College (who own Felixstowe freehold) senior bursar Richard Turnill is BlackRock’s former Global Chief Investment Strategist?

British spies discovered that FDR had offered HK to China, so we snuck British officers into the Japanese prison there with a union flag. They accepted the formal surrender and got it raised in time to greet the (furious) US ship expecting to seize HK before we could react.
FDR offers to carve up British India with Stalin at Teheran, 1943. Churchill is purposefully kept in the dark.

Good result. It’s blindingly obvious that chicken manure is a waste product in the Wye catchment where such vast quantities are produced with no clear disposal route. One day the NFU might act sensibly on environmental concerns rather than try to obstruct everything.
🚨BREAKING NEWS: HUGE win for the River Wye! High court ruling declares farming manure as ‘waste’ in major victory for @RiverActionUK in its fight against industrial🐔pollution & exposes a regulatory regime that has failed to protect the environment. riveractionuk.com/high-court…
