The DTCC with their $114 trillion (yes with a t) in assets announced that they are building on Stellar to enable the tokenization of DTC-custodied assets (think Russell 1000 stocks, ETFs and U.S. Treasuries)
DTCC and the Stellar Development Foundation announced today plans to enable the tokenization of DTC‑custodied assets on the @StellarOrg network. This collaboration advances DTCC’s multi chain strategy and expands how traditional assets move across digital ecosystems.
DTC‑tokenized assets are expected to be made available on the Stellar network in the first half of 2027, supporting the evolution of a more open, interoperable, and efficient financial ecosystem.

As of today, @Visa is expanding its stablecoin settlement network, with volume reaching a $7 billion run rate.
Back in November, @wirexapp, a principal member of Visa, launched dual-stablecoin settlement using USDC and EURC on Stellar.

@OpenWallet doesn't natively support Stellar yet.

Stellar now supports the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), the open standard by @stripe and @tempo that lets AI agents pay for services over HTTP.
The MPP SDK handles any stablecoin on Stellar with server-sponsored fees so agents never need gas tokens.
