Last night, while I was stopped at a street corner, I made eye contact with @ThePaulGiamatti as he was waiting to cross. I smiled and waved as if he was a friend of mine.

Thurs: Left work as early as possible. Picked up all 3 boys from school.
5yo: why did you pick me up so early?
10yo: can you pick us up later next time?
At least 2yo doesn’t talk back…yet!

#EPeeps — another cool example of functional brady — this time in typical AFL. Atrial rate ~280bpm, then 2 levels of AV block (2:1 followed by 3:2, appearing as a “typical” grouped-beating Wenckebach pattern), then pulse deficit on the “early” beats. Effective HR = 45!

Visited my 100-yr-old grandmother yesterday, (haven’t seen her in person in 22 months) & she was watching MSNBC (self-described politics junky).
Later I asked her if she’s happier with the current president.
Her response: “Yes! Much better than the last guy. He was a bitch!”

Great demonstration of why people may be symptomatic from PVCs without actually feeling palpitations. No pulsatility after PVCs means functional bradycardia. All better now thanks to @aalap and an ablator!
