LAWNET Detectives Execute Multi-County Search Warrants, Seize Narcotics, Firearms, and Cash
Washtenaw County, MI — Over the past several months, detectives with the Livingston and Washtenaw Narcotics Enforcement Team (LAWNET) have been investigating a drug trafficking organization operating in Washtenaw and Wayne counties.
On April 17, 2026, LAWNET detectives executed five search warrants at residences located in Washtenaw, Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. As a result of the operation, detectives seized approximately 699.5 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 47 grams of crack cocaine, 14.5 grams of cocaine, and seven Xanax bars. In addition, four firearms were recovered.
Detectives also seized $73,968 in cash and approximately $200,000 worth of high-end jewelry as part of the investigation.
This operation was conducted with the assistance of multiple law enforcement partners, including the Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team (MNET), MSP Emergency Support Team, Downriver SWAT, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Sterling Heights Police Department, and MSP K9 units, K9-12, K9-21, K9-22, K9-20, and K9-23.
This is an ongoing investigation. Charges will be sought on the suspects once the investigation is complete.
