Trump: "The current Iranian leadership are very rational people. They are nice to deal with, they are strong and smart people. They are not radicalized, and they are looking to help their country."

There’s always a tweet.
Iran was on its last legs and ready to collapse until the U.S. came along and gave it a life-line in the form of the Iran Deal: $150 billion

New: US intel agencies have recently assessed that Iran can effectively turn the Strait of Hormuz on & off -- at will -- going forward, meaning it has acquired a powerful new ability to hurt the global economy as a result of Trump/Israel starting the war, sources tell me & @NatashaBertrand. “We have now handed Iran de facto control over the strait – a weapon more powerful than any nuke,” 1 of the sources said.

The Trump / Iran deal is even worse than previously reported.
US officials have now confirmed in a briefing that Iran will get full access to a total of $100 billion in frozen funds and the $300 billion reconstruction fund, both included in the deal with implementation now underway, per WSJ. More than $150 billion of the fund has already been committed, directly contradicting Trump's claims that the US would not contribute to the $300 billion fund, per Reuters. @HormuzLetter

Iran war pissed off element of coalition that likes Trump, and ending it is pissing off the never Trump’ers who pretended to like Trump. Never get in bed with people who see American forces as “toy soldiers” for them to move around.

So the entire deal is basically: * We pay Iran and give them everything they could have dreamed of. * They open the Strait for only 60 days. * We would then try and negotiate things like nuclear later… after having given up all our leverage.. Jfc it’s bad!
BREAKING: US–IRAN DRAFT DEAL FRAMEWORK REVEALED • IRAN AGREES NOT TO DEVELOP OR ACQUIRE NUCLEAR WEAPONS • US AND IRAN AGREE TO HALT HOSTILITIES ACROSS THE REGION, INCLUDING IN LEBANON • IRAN TO GUARANTEE FREE AND SAFE COMMERCIAL SHIPPING THROUGH THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ FOR 60 DAYS • US TO RELEASE FROZEN IRANIAN ASSETS ONCE THE AGREEMENT TAKES EFFECT • US TO GRANT TEMPORARY SANCTIONS WAIVERS ALLOWING IRAN TO EXPORT OIL DURING NEGOTIATIONS • IRAN TO MAINTAIN ITS CURRENT NUCLEAR PROGRAM WHILE TALKS CONTINUE • BOTH SIDES TO ADDRESS IRAN'S ENRICHED URANIUM STOCKPILE IN FUTURE NEGOTIATIONS • US TO AVOID NEW SANCTIONS AND MAJOR MILITARY BUILDUPS IN THE REGION DURING TALKS • 60 DAYS OF NEGOTIATIONS PLANNED TO REACH A FINAL AGREEMENT • OMAN AND GULF STATES TO PARTICIPATE IN TALKS ON MARITIME SECURITY AND SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS • FINAL DEAL COULD SEE THE US WITHDRAW ITS FORCES WITHIN 30 DAYS • FINAL DEAL COULD RESULT IN THE LIFTING OF ALL US SANCTIONS ON IRAN • PROPOSED FINAL AGREEMENT INCLUDES A $300 BILLION RECONSTRUCTION FUND FOR IRAN • POTENTIAL DEAL WOULD REPRESENT ONE OF THE MOST SIGNIFICANT US–IRAN DIPLOMATIC BREAKTHROUGHS IN DECADES SOURCE: N12 NEWS

The manner in which this has all been put on a platter for Trump to approve and with affirmations already attached suggests that 🇸🇦🇵🇰🇹🇷🇪🇬 quartet is guiding him to this. In 2015 the situation was quite different as the GCC states were opposed to engagement with Iran. The failure of the current war dispelled the lurking suspicion that the U.S. could just take out Iran and revealed the limits of its capacity while also emphasizing the existential danger of the status quo. With these countries egging the situation along they can just create a new security architecture and isolate the few bad actors.
The draft US-Iran framework would see Tehran maintain the "status quo" on its nuclear program, allow Iran to sell oil and potentially trigger a full US troop withdrawal and sanctions removal if a final deal is reached, Israel's Channel 12 reports.

They are too scared to criticize Trump, so now its "the Vance peace deal".
Getting Lebanon included in the Vance peace deal was an Iranian objective, not the U.S. - and one the U.S. initially resisted when the ceasefire was announced. To spin this as an American achievement is Orwellian.

I'm crying Iran actually regime-changed America
Israeli outlet Israel Hayom reports, in a claim not yet echoed by other major outlets, that President Trump is weighing the dismissal of several senior administration figures who opposed the Iran deal, including Defense Secretary Hegseth and CIA Director Ratcliffe. “The argument has been settled. Those who opposed it may pay a personal price,” a senior U.S. official was quoted as saying about the behind-the-scenes turmoil. According to the report, Secretary of State Marco Rubio appears to be safe for now.

Are FDD lunatics okay? Trump is gifting the biggest oil sanction relief to Iran, arguably a worse deal than JCPOA and none of the war’s aims have been achieved.

If you notice Lindsay Graham and Mark Levin were violently opposed to Trump when his political career started and only turned when they realized that they could use him to fulfill their own ambitions. If that stops they’ll turn back as quickly.
POTUS is about to realize that the people who cheered him on loudest in starting this war will assail him, his team, the mediators and everyone else for getting a deal, whatever its terms, to end it. Because that's much easier than admitting that their schemes have been folly.

Iran’s Mehr news agency publishes the purported text of the draft agreement with Trump. It will keep the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian control, will promise Iran $300 billion in reconstruction money in addition to an immediate cash transfer of $24 billion, a suspension of sanctions and the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the Middle East. Also, a commitment not to bother Iran again about its missiles and proxies, and restraining Israel in Lebanon. The U.S. gets in exchange a pinky promise to respect the NPT. Let’s see what happens in coming days. Link: mehrnews.com/news/6857718 Full text: A permanent and immediate cessation of war on all fronts, including Lebanon. A U.S. commitment not to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs and to respect the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Full lifting of the naval blockade within 30 days. A U.S. commitment to withdraw its forces from areas surrounding Iran. Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days under arrangements determined by Iran. Suspension of sanctions on the sale of oil, petrochemical products, and related derivatives, along with full Iranian access to the resulting financial revenues. The United States and its allies would be required to present reconstruction plans for Iran worth at least $300 billion. A 60-day negotiation period aimed at reaching a final agreement covering nuclear issues and the complete removal of U.S. primary and secondary sanctions, as well as the repeal of relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and the IAEA Board of Governors. Reaffirmation by Iran of its commitment under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) not to produce nuclear weapons. During the negotiation period, the United States would commit not to deploy additional forces to the region and not to impose any new sanctions. The release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the 60-day final negotiation period. Half of this amount must be made available to Iran before negotiations begin. Establishment of a monitoring mechanism to oversee implementation of the agreement. The final agreement would be approved through a UN Security Council resolution. Final negotiations would not begin before the release of half of Iran’s frozen assets, the suspension of oil sanctions, and the lifting of the naval blockade. The final agreement would focus exclusively on the future of enriched nuclear material and uranium enrichment, sanctions relief, and a program for rebuilding Iran’s economy. Discussion of Iran’s missile program and its support for resistance groups would be definitively excluded from the agenda. As stated by the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, this text still requires review and final approval by the relevant authorities in Iran.

The Iranian Air Force carried out another patrol over western Iran, near the border with Iraq, a few hours ago. This continues to be a regular, almost daily, occurrence for them. But I must say, they are doing surprisingly well for an Air Force supposedly “completely destroyed and defeated” according to Trump.

Hunter Biden is doing what people accused Trump of doing in 2015. He is pretending a future political career to draw massive attention to himself, raise his profile - which he can use to make big $$ as a social media star. And honestly - more power to him. He's doing it well.
JUST IN: Hunter Biden announces he's officially considering a 2028 campaign, but only as Gavin Newsom's VP.

Hunter Biden's comment about running as Gavin Newsom's VP was a joke during a podcast interview teaser, not an official announcement. x.com/GavinNewsom/st… tmz.com/2026/06/11/hun…
