This was conservatism that delivered real results for Arizona families. Because of your leadership, Arizona families will keep more of their hard-earned money through historic tax relief, including no tax on tips or overtime, an expanded Child Tax Credit, new childcare deductions for working parents, and additional retirement tax relief for Arizona seniors. At a time when families are struggling with inflation and rising costs, Republicans delivered meaningful relief that helps parents raise their children, rewards hard work, and strengthens household budgets across our state. You also protected taxpayers by reducing the size of government, holding the line on spending, rejecting billions in new taxes and fees, and ensuring Arizona remains one of the best places in America to live, work, and raise a family. You strengthened public safety by continuing support for law enforcement, correctional officers, and border security efforts that help keep Arizona communities safe. A special thank you to Senate President @votewarren and Speaker @stevemontenegro for their leadership and commitment to putting Arizona families first. Most importantly, these accomplishments remind us of a simple truth: when Republicans come together, we win. Thank God we have Senator Werner @CarineWerner leading the charge at the Capitol to hold accountable the people and providers who abuse our most vulnerable and the state’s behavioral health system. And she’s done so on a bipartisan basis. I’m disappointed that General Mayes @AZAGMayes resorted to calling Senator Werner names instead of thanking her for her engagement on a really serious problem.
