Our data from Nova Scotia found 65% of food insecure caregivers worried about the cost of formula and 13% ran out of formula and didnât have the money to buy more - in 2022. And the cost now is up over 20%. In Canada we still ignore the problem of infant food insecurity
Today we have released a report on the devastating impact rising formula costs are having on women and families. We're calling for urgent and bold measures to curb the cost of formula milk. For our mothers, babies, and families - we must get this right đź
