Capitalism means ongoing biome and biodiversity annihilation as well as 3-4°C by 2050 or soon after. We actually have no evidence whatsoever that 2-3°C is survivable. In fact, it clearly won't be for an extraordinarily high percentage of Earth's species. Primates? Very high risk.

We could experience this level of warming already around 2050, based on real forcing (greenhouse gases and aerosols) changes and observations of Earth’s Energy Imbalance

Chevron made 8bn profit off Australian gas last year- $17bn in the last 3y. In that time it’s paid $0 in petroleum resources rent tax.
We let multinationals sell our gas overseas for free while we struggle with a cost-of-living crisis.
I’ll keep pushing for fair tax reform.
