For clarity, the $70 mill I mentioned about Brown here, is referencing his potential extension, not his current AAV

I was thinking about this earlier. This is the 3rd time JB has been in this situation with the C's. First it was Kawhi. Then it was KD. Now it's Giannis. At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if he asked out (assuming Giannis deal doesn't come off)

This would give Giannis an AAV of $68.75 mill. That's more than Brown would earn in any of the remaining seasons of his current contract - but not by much. What it does do is remove the need to pay Brown $70 million at ages 33 34, while also improving the team now.

It took 4.5 years, but I FINALLY feel like I'm 100% back to myself (barring the ongoing journey back to fitness) It took some super dark lows and some rough stretches. Feels great to have some legitimate drive and purpose again. Everything else will follow with hard work.

Based on my understanding of the TPE restrictions (which may be wrong), this trade would be invalid. It would need to be broken down into 2 separate deals to get over the line. So, it would look something like this. Deal 1 would be Bos gets Giannis Atlanta gets JB Bucks get Daniels and Kuminga Deal 2 would be Bos gets Turner via TPE (Anfernee Simons) ATL gets Hauser via TPE (Kennard) Bucks gets 8th 27th picks future 1st The problem, then, is that Deal 1 would add a ton of salary to the Hawks' payroll, which could make it difficult to get the first deal over the line, ultimately killing the whole thing.
