πŸ“„πŸŽ‰ Back-to-back baby! πŸŽ‰πŸ“„ Delighted to see our 2️⃣ latest works on @A_baumannii #lipidbiology published in @mBiojournal Fantastic efforts by everyone involved ‼️ Definitely is the icing on the cake 🧁 for my official last day before I go on maternity leave πŸ₯³πŸ₯³
2 papers from the lab in @mbiojournal todayπŸŽ‰ In a huge collaborative effort, we reveal how @A_baumannii steals host fatty acids during infection doi.org/10.1128/mBio.00928-2… and that some host fatty acids affect the structure&function of the efflux pump AdeB doi.org/10.1128/mBio.01070-2…

Excited for this first-author work from my PhD to be published in @ACSPublications, underpinning the strategies implemented by Shigella flexneri to adapt and persist in the presence of host compounds 🦠🧫 @BEijkelkamp @RenatoMoronaUoA
Congratulations to Alice and the team. This is the latest paper from Alice’s PhD and reports the effects of fatty acids and deoxycholate on Shigella flexneri. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…
