18th St. Pedestrian Only Zone | The plan currently has the financial backing of a $525k grant from @OPinDC. The @AdamsMorganANC & CM @BrianneKNadeau also support it. The only hangup appears to be permitting a recurring, temporary closure of the street. (@wusa9) 🧵

@AdamsMorganANC is a great group and Adams Morgan is an ANC where you'll have a ton of choices to positively impact the community. As an ANC, one day you might advocate for trash pick up, the next you could help a resident get unemployment benefits
