#WATCH | Delhi: On DMK mouthpiece 'Murasoli' attacking Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP Jebi Mather says, "The DMK was one of our very close alliance partners... When they left in 2014 also, we wholeheartedly welcomed them back in 2016. The situation that evolved in Tamil Nadu is something which has to be looked from the angle that had Congress not taken a decision of getting in alliance with Vijay's party, it would have been a direct situation of having President's rule, it is equivalent to the Center gaining control over Tamil Nadu. So it was very pertinent that Congress takes a decision in the larger interest of ensuring that BJP does not handle the clutches of power in Tamil Nadu and because Congress took that decision BJP is now not in a position to do anything in Tamil Nadu even Annamali has left the BJP... We hope that the DMK understands and they are also part of the INDIA bloc..."

The brutal mob killing of a young Malayali man in Kultali, West Bengal, is shocking and unacceptable. That such a horrific incident has occurred within weeks of the BJP government assuming office raises serious questions about the state’s ability to uphold law and order. Mob violence has no place in a democracy. A thorough and impartial investigation must be conducted, and those responsible must be brought to justice without delay. #JusticeForMalayaliYouth #StopMobLynching #RuleOfLaw #BJPFailed

#WATCH | Delhi: On 20 TMC rebel MPs, Congress MP Jebi Mather says, "The grass is greener on the other side, that is the attitude of such people who at a time when we have to fight for what we all believed in and what the people elected them for, the ideology of protecting our Constitution, at one go, they let go of everything and they are joining hands with a party. That party (the NCPI) had said in its manifesto that they will not encourage people switching from other parties and joining them... It has all become what one gets or what one wants to get, rather than the larger interest of our nation."

Delhi: On the three Vice-Chancellors of universities attending a RSS event in Keralam, Congress MP Jebi Mather says, "Three vice chancellors of Keralam attending the RSS program is not acceptable. It is something which is not expected and if they have done by mistake, they should apologize for what they have done. #WATCH | Delhi: On EAM Dr S Jaishankar's phone call with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio over recent attacks by US Navy in Gulf region, Congress MP Jebi Mather says, "Three Indians died, and is this the response that a country should take? We did not hear anything from the PM. This is such a soft approach being taken when our Indian brothers are mercilessly killed. This shows that this Modi Govt and the PM has completely bowed down to US and to President Trump. This is not how India has been. India had the courage, the strength, the boldness to tell what we want to say even to the PM of the US. That's India's history. But now what we see is total subjugation by PM Narendra Modi, the EAM and the Govt as such." On PM Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump to meet in France, she says, "...All these series of interactions, what we see is not how India has always been. What we are seeing is photo ops and exchange of handshakes or a hug. Beyond that, where is the strong message given by India which the PM should be saying - that we do not see...It is very unfortunate that we are losing our image as a strong, bold nation..."

VIDEO | Delhi: On Kerala CM VD Satheesan's statement on RSS event, Congress MP Jebi Mather says, "Three Vice-Chancellors attending an RSS program is not acceptable to the public minds of Kerala. So if they have made a mistake or made an erroneous decision, they should apologise for it. Now Rajeev Chandrasekhar justifying it is because, he and his party's ideology have their own agenda. Now Kerala is not a country where all these agendas can be cooked. No matter how many ingredients they try to put in, the dish is not going to cooked here. The Vice Chancellors hold a very respectable post and it is not acceptable to the public of the country for this and so they should just apologise." From June 15, Kerala’s women will benefit from free travel in KSRTC buses through the Priyadarshini Scheme — a key promise from the Five Indira Guarantees envisioned by Rahul Gandhi Ji. Heartfelt congratulations to the UDF Government for taking a historic step towards women’s empowerment, mobility, and social justice. This initiative will ease daily travel burdens and strengthen economic participation for lakhs of women across the state. Congress keeps its promises. @INCIndia @INCKerala @MahilaCongress @KeralaPMC #PriyadarshiniScheme #IndiraGuarantees #WomenEmpowerment #CongressDelivers #KeralaUDF

On this World Day Against Child Labour, let us reaffirm a simple truth: childhood is meant for learning, playing, and dreaming—not for labour. Every child deserves books and toys in their hands, not tools of work. Yet, around the world, nearly 140 million children are still trapped in child labour. This reality should concern us all. Let us stand together against child labour, protect the dreams of our children, and give them the wings they need to soar. #WorldDayAgainstChildLabour #EndChildLabour #ChildRights #EveryChildMatters #EducationForAll

The party is going to launch a national campaign across India. 👉 This will not be only at the national level, but also at the state, district, and block levels. Wherever people are facing difficulties, the Congress party will go there, share their sentiments, and fight for them. 👉 Not only through traditional forms of agitation, we will go to the people who are suffering, to those who are in pain. We will try to share their pain and carry their voice to the national level through maximum agitation. Every Congress leader and worker should be out on the streets. We will chalk out the details of the program in the next two to five days. : Congress General Secretary (Org.) Shri @kcvenugopalmp

Our meeting discussed the current political scenario in the country, particularly the economic crisis. 👉 Petrol, diesel, and LPG prices are increasing day by day. People are in severe distress, but the government has taken no action. 👉 Unemployment is at its peak. The entire MSME sector has been completely destroyed. 👉 Youth are very worried about their future. There is no employment. 👉 Students are in a very dangerous situation because of the NEET and CBSE exam issues. The government is taking no moral responsibility for any of these issues. How much longer will we have to demand the resignation of the Education Minister? 👉 The situation in the country is so dangerous that on one side democracy is not there and on the other, common people are struggling for their livelihood. : Congress General Secretary (Org.) Today, we had a three-hour-long meeting of General Secretaries, in-charges and PCC Presidents. We discussed the issue in Madhya Pradesh regarding the rejection of Meenakshi Natarajan ji's nomination. The reason given was that she did not disclose a notice sent by a court. There was no criminal case, no FIR, and no chargesheet against her, yet her nomination was still rejected. On the other hand, in Jharkhand, the BJP-sponsored corporate candidate did not even mention his name properly in the relevant column, but the Returning Officer accepted the nomination. On one side, you rejected the nomination of Meenakshi Natarajan ji in Madhya Pradesh, and on the other, you accepted a nomination with so many discrepancies in the nomination paper. This shows the pathetic condition of Indian democracy. After vote chori, this is now seat chori. In today's meeting, we decided to fight this out legally and politically. : Congress General Secretary (Org.) Shri @kcvenugopalmp

Delhi: Congress MP Jebi Mather says, "In Jharkhand, a BJP-supported candidate was reportedly given an extension till 11 a.m. the next day to rectify errors. The question is what kind of approach this represents in granting such an opportunity. In the present case, the Congress is confident that justice will be delivered, as Rajya Sabha candidature is a significant matter. It is being argued that these are minor issues or errors, which can be clarified by providing their version. It is further alleged that the Election Commission has acted in favour of the BJP. Otherwise, how did they have prior information, and how was the nomination of the BJP’s third candidate filed in advance?..."
