Homeopaths naturopaths aren't "alternative practitioners" either. They are pseudoscience purveyors should never be considered an alternative to a qualified medical clinician

1️⃣ bipap/cpap can *recruit* lungs in ways that other modalities cant
2️⃣ bipap can continue ventilation & recruitment during induction of sedation (bit.ly/3k4gtTE)
in short, if worried the patient will critically desat, bipap = best
