Labour rightly & noisily are waving a big stick at the water industry over sewage pouring into our rivers & on to our beaches
But they ignore the key point: privatisation has failed. Water is an essential resource & should be in public hands as it is everywhere else in Europe

It is criterial to understand that everybody wants to draw a line under the problem and say “good enough” there.
Oligarchy defeated? Ok.
Universal healthcare? Ok.
For me that line is “people have more or less the same long life regardless of age or job title”.

I've called on @RishiSunak to urgently correct the record after he "inadvertently misled" the House during #PMQs by saying he'd only heard of allegations against Gavin Williamson yesterday. A former Tory Chair states he informed the PM well in advance about bullying allegations.
