It's the Christmas holidays and the shortest day of the year, but there's always enough light for a #KidsGoFree#DaysOutByBus. I hadn't planned where we would go but as Mini Multi Modal and I have a lifesaving competition at Blyth at 18:00 I knew it would be a Northumberland trip
COMMENT 🗣️ | Sales is a lonely and under-valued role - says @AlexWarner5. It’s not easy being a salesperson. The pressure to deliver and the constant rejection requires resilience. Here’s his survival guide

As there's regionwide promotion of #DaysOutByBus with a front page advert and editorial in Primary Times (which has gone out in school bags across the region), it's time to do our first adventure of October half term.
COMMENT 🗣️ | Insular Britain is staying at home. @AlexWarner5 says that an apathetic population is no longer making trips that were once routine. What does this mean for public transport operators?

For the last day of #CatchTheBusMonth the bus was my office. 5h58m and 179km of riding the 308/685/AD122/685/308/356/54N for £7.50 to audit routes, real time/printed info and stops. Plus a marketing meeting, summit planning and some exciting discussions... greatscenicjourneys.co.uk/jo…
Only going just back onto the mainland on the 477, as I've got a connection to another of our Great Scenic Journeys, the X18. The logical point to change would be at Beal services which is where buses in all directions serve the same stop greatscenicjourneys.co.uk/jo…
The reason I haven't tried it is that it only runs on certain days and only for a couple of trips to fit with the tide. @AlexWarner5 and the Great Scenic Journey team describe and photograph it much better than my following tweets: greatscenicjourneys.co.uk/jo…
It's rather remiss of me not to have taken MMM on an in-region #DaysOutByBus since the launch of the scheme (though to be fair I have tested out getting to many of the attractions by bus over the past few years.) Fixing that today and tomorrow! northeast-ca.gov.uk/daysoutb…
