Whole court just pretending there weren't a bunch of articles in mainstream papers about @freddymcconnell giving birth while having a GRC Oh it'll never come up the court doesn't need to consider it
Replying to @BBCPhilipSim
Final ScotGov submissions are on pregnancy protections. Ruth Crawford stresses that someone with a GRC has legally committed to live in the male gender until death, and thus this doesn’t require to be taken into account by the court; but she will suggest some possible solutions…

Can't believe I know this many people who've had their hormone care completely fucked up by the NHS. It's so simple! Just prescribe people enough hormones to not get bone problems

Do get your levels checked occasionally and make sure you're self injecting safely and using the correct needles. I'm a silly boy and used the wrong needles for three years lmao

This happened to me, genuinely wasn't expecting to look this much like my dad lmao they should put that on the warning label Slightly twinkier version of my dad is a surprisingly good look though

Hey, you never know, you could go on T and end up looking like your dad

Testosterone, despite being a controlled substance, is easier to buy online than people think. If you can afford to, seek out where to buy it and stockpile some. You'll likely be buying from websites targeted towards bodybuilders.

We're onto fairness in womens hot dog eating contests now, this is definitely a real sport and people who can eat a hot dog in seven seconds should be taken seriously as the athletes they are

Trans people, if you get a message like this, please remember it could also be: - The yearly review they're supposed to do for all long term prescriptions - a policy trying to review HRT use in cis women - they want to check your bloods - something else innocuous

so, uh, I had this appointment today, over the phone. call lasted a minute and a half. my GP was surprised that I’d been on estrogen for 14 years. β€œhave you had a hysterectomy?” β€œno, I’m a transgender woman.” β€œoh! oh, so you’ll need to be on HRT for life” it was fine

It's not that there's no risk it's an attempt to pull you off hormones but it is genuinely more likely it's something else, even with the increase in people being refused hormones.

Trans people, we are all stressed but GPs are actually supposed to check long term repeat prescriptions once a year or so, a repeat being removed from the NHS app does not necessarily mean you are actually being pulled of hormones. Ask your GP what's going on first.

None of us need more stress right now, there is no nationwide ban although GPs are increasingly being dicks about hormones. A repeat being reviewed does not mean there is a ban, and may not even mean they want to stop prescribing to you.

My boyfriend was referred in 2014 and got his top surgery referral this week. That can only be done at the third appointment, so even when he got to the top of the list he had to wait three years for his second appointment and then six months for his third

GP practice has no GPs working today. So if you see a PA and your problem is too complex for them you're just fucked? You can't see a GP about it
Anyone else not able to see a GP even when they get an appointment? Found out at my appointment that the GP appointment I've been waiting for for weeks is not even with a doctor, it's a PA. I asked for a GP when I booked, no indication I was seeing a PA until I saw his badge

Really sick of this physician associate thing, both times I've seen one they've messed up diagnosis. First one missed that I didn't actually have tonsillitis, i had foot and mouth. Second one apparently missed that not being able to open my mouth means i should go to a&e

I would really have preferred to do this a&e wait on Thursday morning and not Saturday night, but i didn't get to run my symptoms past an actual doctor until i called out of hours today and they insisted i be seen today.

I think an actual doctor would have caught these. The first guy wouldn't even engage with anything other than his "tonsillitis severe enough for antibiotics?" Scale when i was trying to tell him it didn't seem like tonsillitis. Also wouldn't pass me on to an actual doctor
