- makes a substantive contribution to nature
- has expected measurable outcomes that can be assessed and monitored
- doesn’t introduce significant adverse environmental risks or impacts

MDBs new methodology for tracking adaptation should incentivize them to prioritize transformational climate actions. A major step forward, which will require complementary work on impact measurement moving forward. #COP27

Discussing the differences between climate finance, green finance & aligned finance. One important difference between climate & aligned finance is that aligned finance also need to take into consideration country pathways. This is not an easy task without LTS for all countries.

At #COP27 many stakeholders are highlighting the high potential of country platforms to foster the coordination and cooperation between IFIs to finance the implementation of country NDCs. These platforms are indeed promising if guided by national climate investment plans
