This is sad, because 1.8% decided that we cannot show our tech to all the devs/businesses/vcs with a dedicated event this year. As i have already booked my flight and hotel last year, i will still be around in Singapore for the Token2049 and Sideevents.

Governance requires not only participation, but also a commitment to accept collective decisions. The Cardano community has spoken and we respect the outcome.
Following the outcome of the Treasury proposal votes, the Cardano Foundation's proposed Cardano Summit 2026, will not take place this year. Despite this, we were heartened to see how close the vote came to being passed and how engaged the community was, and have read every bit of feedback left by the DReps who voted. We were also pleased to see that Emurgo’s TOKEN2049 proposal passed. Now, we will review all current commitments and commence winding down Summit execution.
The Foundation remains focused on the current roadmap and vision. We thank the DReps for their engagement throughout this process. Their thorough evaluation, feedback, and participation exemplify the thoughtful engagement that effective governance requires, and this level of governance remains one of the defining strengths of this ecosystem.
We deeply appreciate everyone who contributed to the discussion, and we look forward to continuing our work in service of the Cardano community.

Forums: A Space for Meaningful Dialogue
On 25 May 2026 in Dushanbe, within the framework of the 4th High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018–2028, thematic forums are being held dedicated to key issues of the global and regional water agenda.
The forums bring together representatives of governments, the United Nations system, the scientific and expert community, the private sector, as well as youth and non-governmental organizations, ensuring cross-sectoral dialogue on pressing challenges, exchange of experience, and strengthening of partnerships. The outcomes of these discussions provide a foundation for the plenary sessions and practical recommendations of the conference.
The forums address the following themes: gender equality and the role of women in the water sector; transboundary cooperation in Central Asia; water and climate risks; regional coordination on the cryosphere; youth engagement; investment and innovative financing for water infrastructure; food security; the nexus approach in water resources management; the water–artificial intelligence interface; and digital solutions in the water sector.
The forums aim to strengthen international cooperation, promote innovation, and enhance the effectiveness of water resources management in support of sustainable development.

At the airport in Qatar with 0 sleep and currently heading to #HKWeb3Festival from #PBW26 and honest take aways from Paris:
- Side events are still the main event. Still the best place to have deeper conversations without having to oversell yourself. Much more relaxed
- A lot of companies / web3 companies can’t get a clear message across. The ones that do standout.
-You can tell who is larping and who actually knows what they are talking about.
- The banks and institutions are coming into crypto with solutions but really need regulation. Lots of capital sitting. We talked about this on our show @cryptoBCLUBB so many times.
-@eToro is cooking and super happy to meet @yoniassia IRL.
-Don’t run out of food at sideevents. It makes everyone want to leave.
-KOLs and influencers in the space aren’t negotiating deals effectively due to greedy representation and that’s why @nexusprospera is going to takeover.
-@kucoincom @Ledger and @AvaxTeam1 consistently have the best events. No matter the conference go.
- @ZachHumphries has the coolest BD on the planet.
- @pharos_network is everywhere.
