My take: a perp DEX can only be considered truly early-stage if it doesn't have a points program yet.
Once points are introduced, speculation starts. People begin estimating airdrop valuations, farming becomes a thing, and the points system itself turns into a powerful marketing engine that attracts thousands - sometimes tens of thousands - of users.
So here's my tier list of perp DEXs that still don't have points programs.

By now everyone knows they're absolute gigachads in the perp DEX space. Just yesterday, news broke that the CFTC is considering blocking CME's proposal for 24/7 oil trading after CME raised concerns about @HyperliquidX. TradeXYZ has played a meaningful role in pushing the industry forward as well.
It seems unlikely they need a points program, an airdrop, or even a token. But who knows.

its been tough 2 weeks since I finished my $1k to $10k journey
since then I was just keep trading on terminal and little here
I left $3.5k in my balance but had it go down to $1.9k
made $500 yesterday and have $2.4k on fomo rn
so basically making $2k - $20k challenge now

I unofficially already finished this as my all time pnl is at $12k
without withdrawls I would have approx $11k right now (ig)
started in mid april as a non profitable trader who started trading onchain only in january
really happy for the results I made tbh, next goal is to make such a results on perps lmfao. Tired of loosing money there so I didn't touch perps for 1 week so far
next goal should be $10k to $100k but idk will market in summer let me accomplish it
anyways need to hit $10k on profile first lol
