If Tom Liberatore gets through training this week the Dogs have a decision to make on whether he plays VFL or AFL but he passed all of his AFL concussion tests last Monday and the plan is to play him at one of those levels. Seven concussions already in his career with Luke Beveridge saying on Friday night: “He has been cleared as far as the concussion side of it but with his history we are making sure we dot our i’s and cross our t’s with our own duty of care with him.”

Gold Coast is challenging Daniel Rioli's charge for umpire contact. It means any decision on the AFL fine for its fifth umpire contact incident this year won't come until later in the week.
The club will contest via written submission on Tuesday, with a decision on Wednesday.
