We are forgetting one crucial thing here: the Nehru family treats/ed India like a fiefdom. From 47 to 90, entire India supported them, celebrated them, venerated them.
Now, when the support wanes, they are happy to cut and partition again. To retain parts that support them.

Most Indian vehicles were never designed for E20, yet Modi ji's govt & Gadkari ji keep pushing towards E30 and even E100.
As an Indian, I pay full price for my car taxes on it, pay road tax, pay tolls, pay Centre state tax on every litre of fuel, pay parking charges… and in return I get $h¡tty infrastructure and now even $h¡ttier forced ethanol-blended fuel that was never meant for most cars on the road.
If I want pure petrol, I should be allowed to buy it. Period.
This ethanol experiment on the common man & their vehicles has made us lab rats.

Following this, companies like Toyota, Suzuki, MG, and Hyundai will launch 100% ethanol-compatible vehicles within the next month and a half. Thus, ethanol will serve as a viable alternative to petrol. People used to laugh when I spoke of this dream, and some friends even criticised it...Soon, we will launch a pilot project in Nagpur featuring a hydrogen pump and two hydrogen-powered buses. The public will be able to ride these hydrogen buses, which will be powered by green hydrogen extracted from water using an electrolyser. That day is now near.”

From the time I started playing cricket, Kane Williamson has been one of the most technically compact and magnificent batters I have seen. Balance, timing, and that trademark calm at the crease came together to make his batting one of the most consistently pleasing sights in world cricket. A thorough gentleman and a true role model for youngsters.
His retirement will probably be received with unexpected relief in more than a few bowling camps. Wishing him luck and success in his next chapter.

In a democracy feedback is important. In 2019 BJP might have lost elections, if setbacks in 2018 elections had not forced PM Kisan nidhi 6k. Same in 2024 MH HR. ONOE means the feedback loop ends, risking everything in one go, which is why it is disastrous for BJP.

So, a story someone told. There is a bend in a road somewhere near Thrissur. Daily after 7 PM sharp, that bend sees accidents. Not before. People assumed it's some ghost's lair. This problem never stopped. One fine day, someone from the village decided to investigate what's happening. Why 7 PM and why not after or before? He took a chair and sat patiently to see what will happen after 7 PM. First came an RTC bus. And soon after that, accidents started. Confused, he went close to see what's the difference. And he saw the difference. Oil on the road. And vehicles skidding in it. Then, he found out if there is a problem with the bus. He found out the yard where it is kept and checked slowly. He got his answer. A broken cap for one of the oil units. A broken cap leaking oil. And because it was a bend and going by the way Kerala drivers drive their buses, the jerk at the bend caused a spill and leading to accidents. All it took was ten rupees - to buy a new cap from his pocket and replace the broken one. This is not to tell there are no ghosts but to say not everything you see is a ghost.
