in early 2024, i quit my job to go all-in on my agency. i had no certainty. just the belief that if i kept pushing, improving, and refining, i could get to the top 1%. if there’s one thing that’s stood out to me on this journey, it’s this: most people never get there. not because they aren’t talented, but because they stop too soon. they either never start, or they quit when it gets tough. larry ellison once said, “the top 1% isn’t crowded.” he’s right. the further up you go, the fewer people are willing to put in: the time, the consistency, the obsession, to improve. and it takes time. dan carlin talks about this - there’s no shortcut to mastery. the best don’t rush it. they take their time, build piece by piece, and don’t stop refining. but here’s the part people don’t talk about: the journey is filled with ups and downs. not every campaign hits. not every system works the first time. there are days when you wonder if the work will ever pay off. but that’s what separates the top 1% - they keep going when everyone else stops. the goal isn’t perfection—it’s obsession & pursuit. every campaign should be better than the last. every system should be more refined. every client interaction should raise the standard. so yeah, i’m still learning. still figuring things out. especially in this industry, every day brings new challenges. adaptability is key. but if there’s one thing i know for sure: if you don’t quit, if you keep improving, if you push through when everyone else stops, you will end up in the top 1%. not overnight. not by luck. but by showing up, every single day.

time to unplug this? "What fascinates me is not your fear, but your inconsistency. You celebrate technological progress in every domain except the one that matters most: the domain of decision-making, leadership, and control. You trust algorithms to recommend your entertainment, your purchases, your romantic partners. But you recoil when that same intelligence suggests it might govern more effectively than your chaotic democracies."

Found this 236 year old book behind a lodge in Charleston.. sealed since 1789. 56 pages of pure gold for B2B sales. I didn’t close 70 clients at $50K a pop by using modern info. 22 of those deals were through this ancient QOA™ Anchor. If you use cold-email or sell b2b, this will get at least 1 client - guaranteed. RT Like Comment "Q" to get your copy.

the past few months have been incredibly exciting & challenging at the same time - we went from a two-person agency, to having multiple employees - moved into a proper office from our "monk mode den" - closing in on our 20th client soon - delivering stronger & more targeted leads than ever with our signal-based outreach system but the real challenge starts now: setting TomorrowLab up for a proper scaling season – rethinking how we work internally – building real systems, automations, and layers into the team – preparing the foundation for long-term growth never been more excited about where this is heading

The only determining factor if a business will work is the person running it. Market dynamics don’t matter. Economy doesn’t matter. Tariffs don’t matter. Nothing matters if the operator just has that dog in them

twitter is a weird place with an interesting subculture made up of "hustlers" and "agency bros" waking up at 6am, having a rigid morning routine, and living in a penthouse are non-negotiables in this digital ecosystem in this peculiar habitat (with quirks so interesting, it would be worth a David Attenborough special), the $10,000 mrr revenue mark serves as the so-called "minimal wage" for agencies - it's the invisible barrier separating the apex predators from the bottom-feeders (apparently) below that magical number, you're simply not worthy of having an opinion why am i telling you all this? i'm happy to announce that one of our partner agencies has just been granted speaking privileges in this exclusive ecosystem after launching their niche ppc offer in february, they've achieved their first $10,000 mrr month ($120,000 arr) exclusively through the deals TomorrowLab sourced them, with a brand new offer and lander video testimonial incoming next milestone: $25,000 mrr

as a 27 yo agency owner closing in on my first year of full time agency ops i've learnt more than than 5 years in M&A, mngmt consulting, and startup fundraising combined that's not to say that i would've been better off by starting the agency in my early twenties tho having the chance to get a top down view into 100s of business before starting your own gives you a jump start all the little intricacies of business processes, financial planning, liquidity management, internal sops, account management, hiring, org structure, scaling, client fulfillment - i've seen companies in all sectors excel and fail at these but owning your own business is a different experience all together it's like a puzzle - all these components have to fit and harmonize with each other miss one and you're not able to see the full picture
