During our visits today we found 5 of these block plug adaptors! ๐
Did you know they are a fire hazard? ๐ฅ
They were quickly removed and some friendly advice given ๐ฉโ๐๐งโ๐
Remember! Keep to one plug per socket and use appropriate extension leads โ

Since April 2023, we've attended 327 accidental house fires with 72 people injured or killed. Out of all these, nearly half were caused by cooking.

Following a serious house fire in Normanton, crews have been busy visiting the area, offering fire safety advice and smoke alarm tests.

A man has sadly died following a house fire in Brockwell. Our thoughts are with the family & friends of the deceased.
A joint investigation has concluded the most probable cause of the fire to be accidental due to a tumble dryer. More details: ow.ly/ou1N50Q3ZmX

Please make sure you follow the safety advice for charging e-bikes and e-scooters -
โขAvoid charging overnight
โขDo not charge for longer periods than recommended
โขPlug the charger into a mains socket and not an extension lead
Make sure you have working smoke alarms!
