#OSSTF President @marthahradowy joined student trustees, union partners, and @cancivlib to call out the government’s takeover of seven school boards.
These actions create confusion, instability, and disruption in schools. They make it harder for teachers and education workers to do their jobs and support student learning.
Takeovers are not solutions. Students need funding, stability, and real support.

In our study, 42.3% of Ontario caregivers reported that their autistic children had experienced some form of school exclusion.
These exclusions have cascading effects on families, forcing parents to miss work and jeopardize their employment.
