#recovery is earned through effort and action. We must work & walk through the fear, pain, trauma, shame, dark days & nights to break free from the addiction. A personal journey supported by love & inspired guidance.... Recovery is not straight out possible...it is only made possible with opportunity, resourceful support & with spaces of connection, empathy & identification. Without these it's another day in the abyss of chaos, isolation & suffering. There are so many suffering across our UK cities, unreached by our systems. A complete systemic failure. #ActionOnAddiction - it's time to fix our #drug & #alcohol treatment systems, it's not working for many communities across the land. Time for honest conversations, looking the other way, tokenising communities & hiding behind EDI 'tick boxes' serves no one.
