Just been told by @BCRT that last night broke the record for the most money we’ve raised in a single night of the tour.
The audience in Nottingham gave over £1600!
That is PHENOMENAL.

MASSIVE MASSIVE thanks to everyone who came to see me at Nottingham @RoyalNottingham.
I didn’t want the gig to end. I wanted to savour every moment on that stage.
When I did my first gig at the Malt Cross Music Hall round the corner, I would never have dreamed that I’d end up playing the Theatre Royal.
Going in that Stage Door was so cool. I’d waited to get Steve Coogan’s autograph when he played there in 1998.
Nottingham has always shown me so much love, especially when I was ill.
Thank you. I love you all.

@BCRT @back_the_BBC My son, Hugh Kiddey, died from #EwingsSarcoma in 2002. The little girl in this appeal, Beth, died aged 12 in 2022. 20 years on & while treatment has come on a bit, it is not enough & young people die. BCRT do research. Please listen.
