Pleased to participate as part of the State of Qatar’s delegation at the International Contact Group for the Great Lakes (ICG) meeting in Stockholm, chaired by the Kingdom of Sweden, with broad international participation from officials, diplomats, and experts. The discussions focused on ongoing mediation and peace efforts in the Great Lakes region, the latest developments in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, humanitarian assistance, protection of civilians, and the importance of international coordination to support stability and sustainable political solutions.
