#BugIllustrationOfTheDay: Woundwort Shieldbug. I have been very pleased to find these beautiful bugs in our garden in central Bath! I am aiming to illustrate as many UK beetles & bugs as possible. Suggestions welcome! ⁦@Simon_Robson69⁩ ⁦@shotbert#pentatomisae

Can anyone help identify these beetles? Is the one on the right a female thick legged flower beetle?.. I am uncertain as it isn’t as large or shiny as the male thick legged flower beetles I have seen .

I have spotted all these beetles on my #lockdownwalk across the hills around Bath in the last 2 weeks. Have you sighted any other bugs or beetles which I could illustrate? ⁦@Bathscape⁩ ⁦@WeLoveBath⁩ ⁦@BathLifeMag⁩ ⁦@avonwt#bughunt #bioblitz #sciart
