No hate from me. Devs need to be supported. The best way is to spend as much as possible on skins and cosmetics.
So, how is Highguard going to pay its employees?
Estimates have them at around 100 devs. LinkedIn shows 96. If they average $60K/yr for each employee (that's probably low) then they are paying $480K in salaries each month, alone.
Where's that money coming from? The game is slipping down the Steam charts and if I'm nice about it, then the total players on console are equal, but that's likely not the case.
I have to imagine they are either well funded for a long haul, or we're going to see a restructure if they don't shut down in the coming early months. This game isn't going to take off. There's no fixing all the issues in short order.

How did this game get released in this state? And no, 5v5 isn't another mode. It's the same game mode with more players. It's a bandaid and it's "limited time."
