"Allies reject any attempt to delegitimise nuclear deterrence", while criticising the buildup and modernisation in countries outside the alliance. It's a double standard that you will not get away with. Either the rules apply, or not.

I think it’s interesting that people are so shocked by the idea of “normalizing the language of nuclear annihilation”.
This was what nuclear deterrence always is. Any state (& person) that supports nuclear deterrence as a policy must be ready to wipe out a whole civilization
