The ruling was flawed in that they literally refused to hear from people who wrote the law or from trans people who's rights were meant to be protected by that law, you cannot accurately conduct a case without the full evidence.

Her charges are criminal damage. Keeping someone for nearly 2 years on remand for criminal damage is ridiculous. Plenty of other activists have done hunger strikes. It's a well known form of protest. The Suffragettes did it. So did Ghandi.

In the UK while there are EHRC guidelines there's no actual codified law that stops me from using the women's toilet and it is up to the individual establishments if they wish to enforce those guidelines; my local community is very accepting :)
