72M with CAD (stent 2 yrs ago, on ASA 81mg daily) HTN & HL on statin.
New Dx of Severe Ileal CD- 🔦 C-scope: Deep ulcers in ileum and colon. Started IL23 but unable to taper pred: abd. pain, 15-lb loss, urgency with 6-8 loose stools/day.

I launched a program called RIGHR (Research & Innovation in GI and Hepatology for Residents) to increase the # of residents pursuing GI/Hep -- we pair residents w/ mentors in our division and have a longitudinal virtual coaching & mentorship curriculum.
