Merko samajh nahi aata is aadmi se agree karu ki disagree?
Quentin Tarantino says the biggest difference between TV shows and movies is that great films stay with you for life. “Everyone talks about how great television is now, and I agree, a lot of it is really good.” “But at the end of the day, it’s still television to me.” “I watched Yellowstone and thought it was fantastic.” “Kevin Costner was great, the writing was strong, and I got completely caught up in it.” “But after a few seasons, I realized it was still basically a soap opera.” “You learn everyone’s backstory, their relationships, and then you just follow what happens next.” “You become invested in the characters.” “That doesn’t mean it’s the same thing as a great movie.” “With television, you get caught up in the drama of the moment.” “But five years later, you usually don’t remember much of it.” “A great movie is different.” “You remember the story.” “You remember specific scenes.” “You remember how it made you feel.” “It builds toward an emotional climax that stays with you for the rest of your life.”

Imtiaz Ali wants to bring attention to the suffering of Palestinians, he has all the right to. Nothing wrong. But what makes me question and doubt the sincerity of these filmmakers is a simple fact that they never did it or do it for Indians, and especially non-Muslims. Kashmiri Hindus? No. 26/11 victims? No. Pahalgam victims? No. But somehow their heart bleeds for Palestinians and Iranians living thousands of miles away. Now, there can only be one reason for this selectiveness. That Islamic brotherhood is all that matters. It really is not about humanity. So yeah, you want to do it, do it. But please be honest.. about what this is really about. Just accept that you don't connect with the pain and suffering of Indians and non-Muslims as much as you do with your Muslim brethren. And don't be a performative holier than thou liberal. You're not.

In #MainVaapasAaunga, Imtiaz Ali showed footage of the Palestinian Nakba, when around 800,000 Palestinians were forced to leave their homes during Israel’s creation. Diljit Dosanj liked this reel.

Was watching a series on #ZEE5, series review later. First, a ZEE5 review. ZEE5 is a revolutionary app built on cutting-edge technology. It is, in fact, a health and wellness app that happens to have OTT features. Some of its benefits are so remarkable that I have to list them down. 1.The app actively promotes mental alertness by resetting your watch history. So if you left a series at S01E03 14:17, the next time you open the app, you begin again at S01E01 00:00 - ensuring your brain gets a workout trying to recall where exactly you’d stopped. It takes a few back-and-forths, but it sharpens you. I feel more agile already. 2.You see ads even on a premium subscription. The purpose of this feature is to ensure you never get so engrossed in a make-believe world that you forget real life. Right as you’re deep into figuring out who the killer is, a Ching’s Schezwan Chutney ad gently pulls you back to reality. Grounding, really. 3.You get pop-ups that swallow the entire screen, fitted with a close button so small that dismissing it demands deep concentration and flawless eye-finger coordination. A beautiful little cognitive exercise, free of charge. 4.And the real masterstroke, even after the ad ends and the content resumes, you can sometimes still hear the ad playing somewhere in the background. You’re forced to train your ears to filter out the noise and lock onto what you actually want to hear. My auditory powers have improved drastically. I went in to watch a show. I came out a sharper, calmer, more alert human being. Well done, ZEE5. A wellness revolution disguised as a streaming app.

Replying to @iamheemaanshoo
Sure. Blame the absolutely terrible/non-existent marketing around the film on the audience.

You aren't funny, sadly.
Madam @navikakumar I’m aware comedy isn’t journalism. We are both funny, in VERY different ways. Here’s a fact, you posted asking people for their take. I responded with mine. Sometimes questions are followed by answers. I empathise, this seems like new territory for you. Anyway….imma bounce 🙏

He has the least personality among cricketers. At first, I used to idolize him, then I became neutral, and nowadays I've started disliking him. Today, I unfollowed him on both Instagram and X. 👎

I don’t care about the rest. But Saayoni Ghosh, TMC MP, posted a meme showing a condom being put on a shivling. It shook me to my innermost being. I had filed a police complaint against her at Rabindra Sarobar PS, Kolkata - predictably with no results. Then she sung a song as part of TMC’s election campaign, which said she had the Kaaba in her eyes, Madina in her heart. For Lord Shiva’s sake, do not have anything to do with her. @narendramodi @AmitShah @BJP4India
