Being part of a startup is being part of a team, getting hands dirty, helping with things you never imagined doing. If this excites you, then startups are just the place 🙌If not, then not right for you or the team. We all need to find what’s right for us! linkedin.com/posts/keshepher…

The team and I are super excited to be taking part in this years #BostonFintechWeek thanks to @FinTechSandbox
Reporter @bosbizgregryan on #BostonFinTechWeek2021 in @BosBizJournal: bit.ly/3A2zGex Boston is "a place where #fintech leaders can gather," says @sarah_biller, virtually as well as in person.
Please don’t say that some things sublimate rather than turn into liquids.. that will not make me any nicer 😡
Not sure if I would have been as nice 🤣😂

Had my deodorant confiscated at the airport because, even though it’s a solid, “it turns into a liquid when it heats up”. Didn’t have the heart to tell the border security guy that that logic applies to every substance in the known universe 🤷🏼‍♀️

Great investment ideas are rare and getting rarer. They don’t come to those who sit & wait for brokers to call or use the same old screening processes. They demand learning, searching, changing!!
And here my team has been complaining that I have been in a bad mood. I have obviously simply been making good decisions 🤣 #noise #danielkahneman #FintechNews #startups x.com/CassSunstein/status/13…

What do Smaug 🐉, A Warhol, hoarders & asset managers share – endowment effect. Makes what you own valuable irrelevant of fact & feel like part of you. This bias cost asset managers 100bps /year. Gladwell’s psychology of dragons 101 tells it brilliantly pushkin.fm/episode/dragon-ps…
Time is precious, yet we love wasting it – literally. Allocating time to what creates value is key to good decision-making. Yet investors spend time on names they hate, following results, reading commentary. Why? Simple - gives a kick, releasing serotonin & dopamine same as love.
Yes, Persian Kings did kill the messengers bringing bad news- Hence Persian messenger syndrome. Now imagine an analyst trying to get their fund manager to sell something they love. Then consider the fund manager deciding 50% of their bonus. Damned if you do/dammed if you don’t

WeWork eat your 💔 out! Needed to work out of the office and 🤔of my London Library membership. Having opened in 1840 it's still the biggest independent library in the world, although you would never know. Amazing place 🤟 Why would one ever hot-desk anywhere else?
With 12m data bits 🏏 our 🧠 brains (yes the same ones that haven't evolved much in 150,000 years) per sec, can we be 🙀that we don't always make rational investment decisions? 📻D. Crosby, author of the behavioural investor discussing on how to practically improve decisions!
