My brother-in-law runs his own data center/GPU farm at home.
Currently makes him ~$3k/month profit. 30% solar powered. Aiming to get to 60% by end of this summer which will increase profits significantly (mostly down to adding batteries, not panels), then will buy more GPUs.
He sells the compute via some 3rd party service that takes a cut. Apparently a lot of ML/rendering workloads.
You can just do stuff!

Trying to crack the code with my Coloring app... competitor Colorify doing 180k MRR.
Their app isn't great. Meta ads don't seem great.
So time to test some stuff. So far:
- 10,000 free coloring pages created on my website
- All with meta tags, meta images, alt tags
- pSEO for each page, category & combo
- Google best practices followed
- Meta ads targeted to women 35
- Meta pixel on website
First goal: Get traffic on FB/Website and SEO ranking.
Second goal: Monetize with App
Current job: Meta ads optimisation with $100 a day.

Even with these errors they have a “publish anyway” button 🤪
And now they are invoicing for every $1.50 in spending 😅😅
