Girls’Day 2026 at Beta Systems ✨ Curious about what’s inside a computer or how programming actually works? Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming 12 participants to our headquarters in Berlin to spend the day exploring the world of IT with us. They took apart a computer to see how it works, toured our technical environment and later teamed up with our apprentices to build their own small programming projects, from digital cats to a custom Connect Four game. Throughout the day, we also shared insights into our apprenticeship programs in system integration and application development, and what it’s like to start a career in IT at Beta Systems. Checking in from Tokyo! Together with our partner Softplex, we welcomed clients and industry peers to “HOT TOKYO” – our biannual event focused on the future of enterprise IT. Beta Systems at the brand-new IBM Campus in Ehningen. This year’s IBM Z Symposium took place at IBM’s new campus and we were there on site as a Silver Sponsor with our own booth. Over the two days, we had a lot of interactions with customers, partners, and of course IBM about our solutions for the IBM Z. Some key topics from the event: • Application modernization in the mainframe environment, including Agentic AI • Digital sovereignty in hybrid cloud setups • Database consolidation, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL on Linux • Availability challenges and rising costs in x86 environments We will follow up on these discussions and continue positioning our solutions in the context of modern architectures across on-prem, pure cloud, and hybrid environments. Also, not something you see every day: a quantum computer, up close.
