#MonsoonSeason begins today and runs through September 30th.
Monsoon Season is nothing more than a seasonal wind shift that transports moisture northward.
This, combined with our intense summer heat, results in periods of showers and t-storms which usually favor the higher terrain.
The last 2 monsoon seasons have been a no show.

Our survey team has confirmed an EF-1 tornado in central Livingston County, including near Dwight. The tornado appeared to be largely in open fields limiting the number of structures impacted.
More updates will be coming soon. #ILwx
Besides a mountain shower or storm tomorrow, most neighborhoods will stay dry along with some afternoon breezes.
Couple of days around 110° next week before things cool down a bit by the following weekend.

Because of low pressure moving north from the Gulf of California. Hoping we get a sprinkle or two out of that system but I highly doubt it. Have a great weekend.
