i'm building a Mario style 2D platformer and this is my progress after 2 days
sprite loading, parallax background, camera system, player movement
this originally started out as a bug but then i figured - why not let the user swap between painting all shared hard-normal verts at once OR individually for crispier edges!
(actually so happy with the radial segments that rotate to match the position of each vert face lol 🥵)
Lerp is used everywhere in games. It’s simple, but combined with a few small tricks it becomes incredibly powerful.
