As soon as you hit 30 , the idea of replaying most games under 10 hrs to find stuff you missed the first time becomes laughable. I'm playing XCDE right now, it's good, but if you think I'm going to ever replay this 50 hour fucking video game ever again you are crazy.

And right now is the freest I'm gonna be until I'm like 70 (if I'm lucky). No wife/kids, weekends relatively free, but the idea of beating Baldur's Gate III after 80 hrs, going "I wonder what would happen if I said Y instead of X", and starting a new playthrough is fucking insane

The one thing I hope for P4R is they take a page from Metaphor and just let you answer whatever the fuck you want in Social Links (barring the important ones) without having to worry about SL points.

It's like a Souls game in that it's incredibly difficult for the first two hours but as soon as you get a decent Trinket ( 2 vials heal, faster move on hit, 25% HP, etc.) it just becomes a normal-ass game

Even as a kid when I was playing Halo CE on PC after two years of hype I thought "Why am I so fucking slow? Why can I only have two weapons when Duke Nukem lets me have 9 if I'm a big armor guy?"
I just went back to playing Wolfenstein ET after that until Custom Edition

This image only exists because gamers at the time genuinely felt threatened by how good Halo CE was. It's better than pretty much every shooter that came before it, a solved formula.

See I wouldn't mind people not understanding Naoto and Kanji if they didn't have scenes where they clearly explain literally everything about their character arc. Maybe a big flashing "Read this dummy" during these scenes would help.

Naoto's gender DID matter. She wasn't taken seriously in her line of work. Her peers looked down on her. People thought she shouldn't inherit her grandfather's career. She has personally suffered for it and hated being a girl due to it. Narukami was validating her reality

Lift up the stories that actually DO focus on LGBTQ representation instead of trying to retrofit it into an almost 20 year old game developed for young Japanese guys where you date a bunch of high school girls. Both are great and both can exist.
