These fireflies are known "snappy syncs"β€”one of the stranger and better common names I've heard ofβ€”due to their quick, synchronized lights. Researchers took advantage of a partially-closed park to study them in the dark. Lovely photos by @MacStonePhoto nationalgeographic.com/anima…
