Stop plastering solar panels on thousands of acres of prime farmland. Put them in car parks and on roofs instead.

Thames Water to do fewer improvements under lender rescue plan. More unplugged leaks, sewage in rivers. Plan wants more cash from customers. No commitment on what shareholders will pay. No end to dividends. Nationalisation is the only durable solution. theguardian.com/business/202…

"Rescue plan at Thames Water is still too murky." Let's be clear about this there is no "rescue plan". For the last 3 years TW, like all WCs, has been negotiating with @Ofwat what the need to achieved over the next 5 years, up to 2030, how they're going to do it and how much it's all going to cost and how much customers' bills and going to have to go up to pay for it all. What this load of charlatans want is to do is rip up those last 3 years of negotiations, take the £20.5 billion already committed from customers' bills and spend it achieving even less than the old owners. Beware it's not their money, it's not shareholders money, it's your money, it's customers money and achieving even less. What a total fraud. theguardian.com/business/nil…

We paid for Angela Rayner’s education. We paid her wages when she worked for the local council. We paid her wages when she became an MP. We even paid the settlement that enabled her to buy a house. Tax payers have funded every aspect of her entire life.
