I think most sensible people who will be watching the ugly side-show of Burnham v. Streeting will observe the stoic, calm and resilience of Starmer who has shown dignity and patience during this hugely self-induced psychodrama orchestrated by delusional Labour MPs.

Getting a bit depressed about the UK nearly always finishing last, or near last, at #eurovision. We have such a wide array of musical/song-writing talent in this country. Surely we just need a different approach. I'm 100% sure we can do better if we put our minds to it.

If Andy #Burnham gives up the #Manchester mayoralty but then fails to win a #Makerfield by-election due to the strength of @reformparty_uk, he's going to look a bit of a chump. It's a high stakes move, both for him and for @UKLabour. Not great for Manchester either.
