A more sobering stop on the trip at Oak Alley Plantation. Beautiful grounds, but I left feeling disappointed that the focus was more on the plantation itself than the reality of the slavery that made it possible.
Back to New Orleans now for a chilled afternoon by the pool, with an early flight to Dallas tomorrow.
