I urgently need all Bostonians to complete the #2020Census by TOMORROW, Oct 15th. Boston relies on the funding that comes from the Census. As we continue to recover from #COVID19, filing out the Census helps Boston access crucial federal resources for our ongoing relief efforts.

Last night the MA House passed TOPA (Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act) as an amendment to the Economic Development Bill! TOPA gives tenants a shot at ownership when buildings are sold, key to preventing displacement. #TimeforTOPA @BrendanCrighton @senjehlen @KarenSpilka

Structural Racism: 70% of Boston’s eviction filings in market-rate housing are in parts of the city with a majority of residents of color, while 37% ...are in majority Black neighborhoods—even though they only contain 18% of the city’s rental housing. bostonmagazine.com/property/…

We remember Tunney Lee (李燦輝, 1931-2020) scholar, teacher, and activist, who educated, mobilized, and inspired many. He was a dedicated and generous supporter to BCNC and he played an integral role in the development of Pao Arts Center. Tunney, you will be greatly missed.
