🇺🇸⚔️🇨🇳🇰🇵 TRUMP WEAPONIZES THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR DEMOCRACY AGAINST CHINA AND NORTH KOREA
The Trump Administration would have the American people believe that he is aggressively defunding and ultimately closing down the National Endowment for Democracy. However, in 2025, the NED made 1,552 grants totaling as much as $271 million to support the work of NGOs advancing the interests of the CIA and Western multinational corporations in more than 90 countries, or as they would say it “supporting democratic principles.”
Several job listings from one month ago are for “Multiregional Grants” in East Asia with a desired qualification being proficiency in the Chinese or Korean languages. Of course when the NED claims to support freedom around the world what they really mean is freedom for Wall Street and the military-industrial complex to remove governments that refuse to be subordinated to US Dollar Hegemony via the IMF and World Bank. In East Asia, those two countries would be China and North Korea.
The National Endowment for Democracy was founded in 1982 at the direction of then-CIA Director William Casey to destabilize and ultimately overthrow socialist and independent governments across the world through the direct sponsorship of NGOs, media organizations and liberal political parties. NED co-founder Allen Weinstein confirmed the agency’s role as an arm of the CIA in 1991: “A lot of what we do today was done covertly 25 years ago by the CIA.”
During a testimony before the US House of Representatives in February, the NED’s current director that the organization was instrumental in the violent January riots in Iran and had smuggled over 200 Starlink networks into the country on behalf of the rioters who burned down mosques and deliberately murdered a three year old girl in front of her father in the Kermanshah province. Mike Pompeo confirmed that Mossad and the CIA were responsible for sparking the riots and Trump later used the failure of this attempted color revolution as one of his justifications for waging his terrorist war of aggression against the Iranian people.
In January, all Democrats and 81 Republicans rejected an amendment in the House of Representatives to defund the NED. So despite the fact that Donald Trump, even though he promised no new wars, is running an administration that is even more hawkish and neoconservative than George W. Bush, we can give him credit for one thing. He has exposed the two-party system has a UniParty serving the interests of a corporate oligarchy looking to increase its profits by any means necessary, including organized violence as Palantir CEO Alex Karp has described it.
